National Payment System

From the 14th of October, 2024, M-PAiSA mobile wallet is connected to the National Payment System (NPS), enabling the transfer of funds between banks and mobile wallets connected to the NPS.

Terms and Conditions for M-PAiSA Transactions through NPS:

The sending party (transaction initiator) must always coordinate with their respective bank or mobile wallet provider for any transaction-related queries. Account holder details (KYC/ID) must be verified before any transaction-related inquiries can proceed formally.

The response and resolution time for delayed or disputed transactions depends on the respective banks’ or mobile wallets’ resolution timeframes.

How Does It Work ?

Steps

  1. Login to your BSP App
  2. Click on the drop-down menu from the top left corner
  3. Click on the payment option under Payments and Transfer
  4.  Click Other Bank Payments
  5. Add new Payee
  6. Select Vodafone Fiji Limited (VFL)
  7. Enter your Vodafone Number under Account Number
  8. Add Suitable Payee Name
  9. Add a narration of choice
  10. Click Proceed and wait for your OPT
  11. Enter your OPT and you will have created your M-Paisa Payee successfully
  12. Select this M-paisa Payee under Other Bank Payments for all future cash transactions from your account to M-paisa

Steps

  1. Select Transfer 
  2. Select Other Local Banks
  3. Select New Recipient
  4. Enter Your ANZ Account and Name
  5. Select Vodafone Fiji Limited from Local Bank menu
  6. Enter your M-paisa Mobile number as the account number
  7. Select Next
  8. Select Pay Now

Steps

  1. Login to Your BRED Bank Account 
  2. Click on Transfer to wallet provider
  3. Select Vodafone M-Paisa 
  4. Enter Mobile Number & Amount
  5. Comfirm the tranfer details
